TaviChat privacy policy
Version of 18 September 2026
In short
We ask for no name, no email, no phone number and no address. We do not track you and we do not sell data. All we hold is your conversations and the minimum needed to deliver them to you.
1. What we store
- Your account number in the project. It tells us whose notifications to show you. The number is issued by the project, not by us.
- Your name and picture. These are a copy from your profile in the project — that is where you change them. TaviChat keeps no picture storage of its own.
- Messages — yours and those written to you: the text, the time, the language.
- The phone you signed in from: the sign-in key, the platform (Android or iPhone), the model, the app version, when you were last seen.
- A notification key — issued by the phone's own maker: Google on Android, Apple on iPhone. It is what lets a message reach your phone.
- The language you chose in the app.
2. What we do NOT store
- no email, phone number, surname, address or documents;
- not your location;
- no advertising identifiers — there is no advertising in TaviChat at all;
- not your contacts, photos or files on the phone;
- not your network address in the database. In the server log it appears anonymised — without its last part — and is erased automatically.
3. Who we pass data to
Four recipients, and only for a reason:
- Google (Firebase) on Android, Apple (APNs) on iPhone. So that a notification reaches the phone. What goes out is the notification key and a short line such as “Withdrawal · Open the app”. There is never an amount in a notification — a lock screen is visible to anyone who picks up the phone.
- An artificial intelligence service (OpenRouter, Google Gemini model). The text of a message goes there in two cases: when you press “translate”, and when a project-chat message is checked before publication. Messages are not used for training.
- The project you are connected to. Your number in that same project goes out — so that it can return your name, picture and status — and, when you set a picture in TaviChat, the picture itself: the project stores it, we keep no picture storage of our own.
- The project’s server — when a news item has a picture or a clip. Your phone loads them straight from the project, so its server sees your phone’s network address and the time of loading. We do not keep those files ourselves. A clip loads nothing until you press play.
Nobody else. We do not sell or rent out data.
4. How long we keep it
- Conversations — as long as you use TaviChat. Delete the account and they are deleted with it.
- One-time codes — 15 minutes.
- The server log — a few days at most, then it is erased by itself.
- Messages you wrote in the project chat stay in the chat after the account is deleted, but without your name and picture.
5. Your rights
- Delete everything. Settings → Delete account, or the page tavi.chat/delete. It is irreversible and happens at once, not “within 30 days”.
- Edit your own message within 15 minutes, or remove it entirely — right in the app.
- Remove your name and picture — they are changed in the project profile.
- Get a copy of your data — write to support@tavi.chat and we will answer within 30 days.
6. Children
TaviChat is not meant for anyone under 18 and does not knowingly collect their data. If we learn of such an account, we will delete it.
7. Security
The connection to the server is encrypted. The sign-in key is kept only on your phone; what we hold is not the key itself but its fingerprint. There is no password in TaviChat that could be guessed.
8. Changes
A new version appears on this page with a new date; we will tell you in the app about any significant change.
9. Who is responsible for your data
NATERIVER PRO LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 17029734, address: Wellington House, 90-92 Butt Road, Colchester, CO3 3DA, United Kingdom. Questions: support@tavi.chat.
